TEEN ELIGIBILITY
COMPETING FOR MISS AMERICA'S TEEN
Miss America’s Teen hosts a national competition intended to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, community service, and academic achievement of girls between 13 and 18 years of age.
To become Miss America’s Teen, a contestant must first compete to represent her state, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work and talent. To compete in the Miss America’s Teen program, you need commitment, perseverance, talent and ambition.

To compete in the Teen Program you must:

Must be at least fourteen (14) years on the first day of the State Competition in which she competes.

Must be no older than eighteen (18) years of age on the first day of the State Competition in which she could compete.

Be a United States citizen.

Residency
Must fulfill one of the following:-
Must reside in the local area of competition

Be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited public or private school, or home schooled within the local area of competition.

Meet character criteria as set forth by Miss America HQ.

Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.

Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete.

Must not be eligible to compete in the Miss America Competition.

Candidates must meet all additional requirements pursuant to the Miss America State and Local Application & Agreement.
